A small hotel with a big Caribbean heart
Conga Boutique Hotel is a 17-room Afro-Caribbean-inspired boutique hotel set in a jungle garden in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, on Costa Rica’s southern Caribbean coast, within walking distance of the town and Playa Cocles.
Palm-thatch roofs made with Indigenous communities of Talamanca, masks hand-carved by Indigenous Costa Rican artisans, art that celebrates Puerto Viejo’s Afro-Caribbean story, and furniture built from local laurel wood. Mornings begin with an à-la-carte breakfast in the garden; afternoons end by the pool with the sound of the jungle.
